For the Norwegian publisher of educational materials Salaby I've created a series of illustrations for five Polish tales. One of them tells the story of a young boy Piotrek who finds the magical fern flower, that grants wishes.
The plot
Piotrek asks fern flower for eternal richness — of course naively hoping that money can give him happiness. He travels the world, enjoying his effortless prosperity yet still feeling that something in his life is missing. He finally decides to return home, only to discover that his parents are gone, and that his granted wish, ultimately had no true worth.
